| Bio: | In this mortal incarnation, I'm an old guy (late 40's) working as a designer for a large aviation firm in the Midwestern US. I served in the US Navy from 78 to 84 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger. I went to college in Arizona and got my degree in Giant Robot Design in 1991. Sadly there wasn't any market for Giant Robot Designers back then, so I settled for a job designing aircraft instead. In 2001, I met and fell in love with a young and beautiful goddess from another realm (Vietnam). She used to be known in my LJ as Foreign Bride, but has recently earned the title NNC (Newly Naturalized Citizen) Bride. NNC Bride is loving and energetic and very hard working, but she’s prone to fits of violence and genocide. We got married and spawned a little deity, whose known as Little Super Godot. Little Godot is also full of energy and curiosity. His two major achievements so far are defeating every child protection device in the house, and being able to ride his Blue Steed of Doom (bicycle) very fast (although stopping is still kinda of problematic). Books have been my passion pretty much since childhood. I've been using computers since the 80's and playing video games just about that long. I discovered Anime while attending the San Diego Comic Con back in the 80's sometime. I’ve always been interested by mecha design, but I became fascinated with Aircraft while serving on Ranger. After all, they where the only things with the power to leave anytime they wanted. My great ambition is to design and build my own airplane, giant robot and starship. (Not necessarily in that order). | ||||
